TAPP Applauds Resolution to Recognize Importance of U.S.-Israel Free Trade Agreement

The Trade Alliance to Promote Prosperity today wrote to U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn to thank her for her planned resolution recognizing the importance of the U.S.-Israel Free Trade Agreement.

In the letter, TAPP wrote, "With over $50 billion in goods and services exchanged between the United States and Israel annually, our nation is Israel’s single largest trading partner. Especially in this time of crisis, it is critically important that we do everything necessary to maintain the vitality of this economic relationship.

"Official affirmation of the United States-Israel Free Trade Agreement is an important gesture that will trumpet to the world where America stands in the conflict with Hamas and that will shine a spotlight on the significance of our relationship to both our nations’ economies."
