TAPP Appears on KLTF Radio to Discuss Fabrizio Poll on China/Tariffs
Trade Alliance to Promote Prosperity Executive Director Kent Kaiser, Ph.D., appeared on the UpFront Show on KLTF radio on March 13 to discuss tariffs, free trade, companies masquerading as American, and the new poll that the organization recently commissioned through Fabrizio Lee & Associates.
Kaiser and the hosts agreed that a free trade environment would be best for American consumers and expressed uncertainty about recently imposed tariffs, Kaiser explained TAPP's call for the Trump Administration at least to provide exemptions to U.S. manufacturers that are importing foreign components so that the prices of American-made products don't increase and so that input costs don't rise to levels requiring U.S. companies to engage in downsizing, layoffs, and closures.
